{"id":13682,"date":"2024-03-20T16:59:26","date_gmt":"2024-03-20T15:59:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/helpcenter.blendee.com\/article\/configuring-a-segment-entry-exit-trigger\/"},"modified":"2024-03-20T16:59:58","modified_gmt":"2024-03-20T15:59:58","slug":"configuring-a-segment-entry-exit-trigger","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/helpcenter.streamwise.it\/en\/article\/configuring-a-segment-entry-exit-trigger\/","title":{"rendered":"Configuring a Segment Entry\/Exit Trigger"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>Entry\/Exit Trigger allows<\/strong> you to send a personalized message to a user who has entered or exited a certain segment.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this way, it is possible to program specific actions based on the user&#8217;s behavior.<\/p>\n\n<p>To give an example, if a user who is in the Hero segment leaves this segment, I can immediately schedule a message to be sent to him with a discount code reserved for him to make him fall into that segment.<\/p>\n\n<p>To configure this trigger, access the dedicated section, by clicking on Journey -&gt; Trigger -&gt; Real time.<br\/>To proceed with the creation of the new trigger, click on the &#8220;New trigger&#8221; button at the top.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-medium\"><img data-original=\"https:\/\/helpcenter.blendee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/immagine-corretta-trigger-5-196x300.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10439\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n<p>In the<strong> basic settings<\/strong> , you can also enter the following fields:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Name<\/strong>: enter the name you want to assign to the trigger;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Description<\/strong>: enter a full description of the trigger:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Catalog<\/strong>: select the catalog on which you want to trigger;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Segment<\/strong>: select the segment to which you want to send the trigger (for this trigger, it is mandatory to select a segment);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In <strong>step 3<\/strong> of the configuration, select the &#8220;Entering\/Exiting a Segment&#8221;
